So I was wrapping some curves the other night and I was cornering pretty hard. So as I'm holding on to the wheel and making the turns, I noticed some play. So I backed off and checked it out.. If I pull from the top of the steering wheel straight down, it goes to 7 or 8 o'clock about 2". Really freaks you out at times. I'm assuming this is due to a messed up hub. the column never moves.
So basically, could someone point me in the direction of the right hub that fits my 96 z28. I'm going to go ahead and throw a wheel on there while I'm at it. If anyone is getting rid of a nice steering wheel, lemme know.

Thanks

You sure it's not the column? The tilt pins come loose and cause a lot of movement

yup. I bet that's what it is. I didn't even consider that. Are the pins replaceable or would this require the whole column to be replaced. I know next to nothing about steering columns lol
meissen could you please correct my thread to say "steering" instead of "wteering". I noticed the second I hit the submit button
