Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Tried to do things myself, I have the passion,no time or confidence . I made things worse.... Need to speak on the phone I live in Dearborn Michigan and telegraph area. 313 648-3701
My latest mistake... TB getting stuck I put a wheel to it to stop sticking and now Idols at 25000 RPM[emoji30][emoji90]
Whoa Sid, sorry to hear that! I helped Ben install the intake for Sid, and while I'm not an LS1 guy, I can tell you Sid is a great guy, loves his car, and could use the help if anyone has a few minutes.
It sounds like too much air is getting around the throttle blade. The prescribed fix I've seen for a sticking throttle body is to plug the idle air hole in the throttle blade, then adjust the angle so it doesn't fully close. There is a TPS reading in the service bulletin that you have to aim for.
If you clearanced the TB to prevent sticking, that can't be undone. You could try plugging that idle air hole, but that's not likely to bring it down more than 500-1000 RPM.
Is it closing all the way? Is the TPS and MAF connected?
