  • Squealing noise when turning (not tires lol)

I just recently started a thread about a vibration issue I'm having, but this squealing is also an issue lately. Anytime I'm driving and I turn to the left, somewhere around 50+mph, I hear a squeal that sounds like a wheel bearing or hub. Wheels seem tight, no play side to side or top to bottom when off the ground.
Now, it only squeals when I'm coasting or off the pedal, the second I hit the pedal and apply even a small amount of torque, the sound goes away. Again, this is only while turning left, never hear it when I'm turning right. This is very evident while wrapping some of those fun on ramps, just don't want my car to fall apart while doing so. Any suggestions?

that's probably why I'm seeing vibration at high speeds too.

Justin, I had this problem with my 94. The play in the rear axel allows the brake rotor to contact the pad. First makr sure the caliper is free floating. If it still happens I had to use 2 washersdas shims to move the caliper bracket out slightly so the rotor wouldnt make contact.
If Im correct. It pribably only does this when turning one direction. Mine was left.

When I originally posted this, I thought it was only when I turned left as well. Then I drove it around and realized it was either way I turned. I'm sure axle movement probably has something to do with it. I ordered an adjustable panhard and some LCA relocation brackets. Should be here any day. I'm dropping it off Friday to a guy that's going to at least address the clutch issue. I checked the brake pads on the front and rear and they all look good, but at the same time, my stopping power sucks. If it's wet out, forget it. I have a feeling I may have some caliper/piston issues going on as well. It should definitely stop better than it does. But for now, I'm gonna install the PH and LCA brackets this weekend and just slap a bad*** clutch in it regardless. Any suggestions?
I'm probably going to go with a Comp stage 2 clutch. This car pry won't see much over 450hp with what I have planned.

When I say axel movement ,I mean axel movement in relation to the housing. Pan hard wont help with that.
