No it's something to do with shift kit. The B&M troubleshooting says it's either the 2-3 Shift valve burred or sticking or valve body bolts loose

ppl have said some things i wouldnt recommend, especially always dropping it down into first- if youre going over 50 theres a nice way to blow your trans.

ok this is what you want to do. with an automatic theres no need to shift unless you are downshifting. which you dont really need to do, if you're on the highway you're gonna go to the right gear when you floor it. also it is not good on your transmission to shift into overdrive while at WOT (that is flooring it) so i would let up before you hit your last gear.

O yeah from 45mph you might hit 105mph so what gearis good for getting speed fastest.

You could really have it in either D or OD, rolling from 45 won't matter. The only difference is if and only if you ever made it to OD which is at 135 (not sure) or so you would have to let off for a sec to let it shift. As for gears you could go with a set of 3.42s or 3.73s depending on how extreme you wanna go but stock ones should be fine until you get a cam.

agreed, but the benefit of dropping to D would be sparing the tranny an 4-2 downshift vs a 3-2. probably unnecessary.

thats just jon, he wasnt being serious i gaurantee.

The 700r4 in my old truck would let me select reverse and park on the highway haha. Once i was trying to shift back to OD from D and it slipped past into reverse. Thankfully I yanked it back quick enough lol
