  • 3.73 gear swap

Another member on here is selling 3.73 gears, which is what I want. Besides that set, do I just need a install kit? And any suggestions on which install kit? I see some for 20 bucks and some for 200 bucks. I know you get what you pay for, but maybe something you've had good luck with?

find out if they're the thick or thin gears. thick replace a 2.74 gear without changing the carrier. thin work with a 3.23 or 3.42 carrier

I used AAM gears. was told they were a little bit quieter than the aftermarket gears. Haven't had any problems 5 years and 12000 miles later. Mine was set up by DTS with a new Tru-track to replace my factory 2.73 stuff.
