  • Bought 2010 V6 18" wheels on accident. Need fitment advice

Ok long story short, I saw the pic and thought I was buying 3rd gen wheels. They are 18s off a 2010 V6. Here's what I know.

    1995 Camaro
Tires are 215/60/16 with 7x16 wheels that have a +40mm offset with a 70.3mm center bore.

    2010 Camaro
Tires are 245/55/18 with 8x18 wheels that have a +40mm offset with a 71.4mm center bore.

If I pick up 225/45/18 tires the speedometer will be off by about 1mph @ 60. So no concern there. My main question is...Well I need spacers? How big? 1"? Will the 1.1 too large center bore hurt anything?

The wheels show up tomorrow and my stock wheels go bye bye (even trade) so i need this solved asap! I got the 18s with the tires for even trade. Here's a pic.uploadfromtaptalk1408241054362.jpg

Outer lip will sit about 1/2" further out and inside lip will be about 1/2" further in. No issue with offset.

The issue is with bolt pattern. Those are 5x120mm, your car is 5x120.65mm. They will physically fit as the difference is so small, and many have run them, but you will see a lot of mixed opinions on whether it's safe or not to do.

Those tires will have to go. They are 245/55R18 to fit 5th gens (a little over 28" tall) and would need to go down to a 245/45R18 or 255/40R18 to get close to what the 4th gen needs.

EDIT: Just noticed that you said you'd have to get tires. Take advantage of the extra rim width and get the wider tire.
