Interesting on that belt kit...what does it do, @1999Black_Z28?

It's an oversized washer, bolt and bracket that gets installed thru the floor of the t-top storage area. It's the top tether bracket found on most new cars (not the lower ones in the seat). I can get picks if anyone is interested but I'm not sure how it would work in your vert...

It would be way cheaper to buy these items elsewhere but since GM allows (1) kit free per VIN I decided to use the "approved" setup.

Ah, gotcha - yeah, I don't top tether and it wouldn't work well on my 'vert. I was thinking/hoping it was something for the lap belt.
