  • Replacing ASR/ABS rear axle with non reluctor axle

Installing a MWC Fab 9. New reluctor rings for the 95 are not available per MWC.
It's already built and ready to ship.
Not really wanting to pull my axles and get the reluctor rings off.

What to do with ASR AND ABS?
I don't care if they are functional. I just don't want warning lights and error codes. Any way to disable via PCM and or some resistors or ?
It's not a daily driver. No rain no snow.

    Car is 1995 Z28-M6 w/ASR AND ABS.
Yes it really has ASR and is a 95.

    Thanks

pull the bulb or do the right thing and buy new rings. IMO do it right now and you will enjoy it later.

Heat & prybar and the rings will come off the old axles. Might even have some laying around the shop. They could have been thrown out tho.

Me too, that's why everything in my car works including traction and abs.
