Hey family I bought the 2 gauge pillar pod now I need some help. ... how to install the fuel pressure gauge and the trans temp gauge? Is there any write up on where to tap into and what parts are needed. .... I have the glow shift gauges

The trans temp you'll need a bung welded into the pan or just get an aftermarket pan that already has one.

Fuel pressure is easy. There is a Schrader valve right off your fuel rail. Oh. And you need one of these

I put my sender for the trans on side of the pan drivers side. Bought a bung ,drilled hole, then welded it in. We decided to do it that way, so I use it as a drain plug also. Check my build topic under sponsor section,sniper performance. The bung probably cost me $4 from summit. It was a kooks stainless steel bung. You could also just buy a deeper pan, with a drain plug and port for the sender (but I'm all about budget which is why I went the route I did)


There is a port on the trans that I know a few people will use but it will read about 10* higher or so if you wanted to go that route.


For the fuel rail, used an adapter from jegs to mount the sender. Have to remove the valve inside the rail. The adapter was like $11. MFF0001. But I have an LS, so the rail might be a different fitting. Or maybe you do not need one at all.



For the wiring, we tapped into the head light switches. Power,ground etc etc. Ran the wires through firewall.

I used glowshift as well. I love them

Just drop the pan, mark where you want the pan to be drilled and where to have the bung welded. Show them the sensor and bung so they do not drill a bigger hole than what is needed. Any exhaust shop should be able to bang that out in no time. They could also remove all the gasket material left on the pan real quick for you to.

Hell save this pic to your phone or print it out to use as a reference (if you go this route and not deeper pan). Again the bung is on the driver side.
