just swapped a custom grind comp cam into my 93 z28, first start was good ran ok was idling just fine reved it up a few times and then it just shuts down, i had a few loose rockers and once i adjusted them it wont idle now, i can keep my foot on the gas and it will stay running all day but if it drops below 1200rpm it shuts down. i heard that ill have to upgrade my injectors also just to have it not max them out. can i use factory GTP injectors? from what i hear is they are 36# injectors. im thinking i have some of my rockers overtightend but i cant adjust them while running because i cant keep it below 1200rpm or it shuts down. so im thinking ill have to just suffer through the slow process of the by hand method but i dont know how to do that for the lt1 and cant really find an in depth way to do this.

But joel you have 24# injectors i onky have 22# wouldnt that come into play? I was thinking just have the bigger injectors installed and have them tuned to be safe. Im thinking about going outside right now and loosening up all of my damn rockers and getting it to idle again and adjust them while its running. Cause i still cant find that how to on the non running way@mcalus ask its new owner,

mcalus hows your ppm running? And how much did it run you to have those 10 spokes widend? I have some 315s i want to run and would rather widen my ws6 wheels. And did you run into any problems with your car when you installed your cam? The one im running is very very similar to the cc503 just has the 114lsa

Just went out and loosend all of my rockers untill they were finger tight so i have to wait untill my battery charges up so i can start it if this works i kniw i have to just reset the valves and thats why its not staying running

Eoic when your exhaust is opening adjust the intake. When intake is closing adjust exhaust. Solid or hydraulic cam? Assuming its a hydraulic tighten it to zero lash then set your specified preload on the lifter, if you don't know what preload just tighten it a half turn.
As for the injectors I would recommend buying a set of 30# or stock will work if you bump your base Fp up.
Did you bother to have it tuned?
