I put in a BMR rear drag sway bar in my car about 2 years ago. I've had a noise from the back of my car since I can remember that sounds like a bunch of tools bouncing around in the back of a truck, LOUD! I had a buddy ride in the back of the car and we traced it down to the sway bar. With the car just sitting on the ground, you can hit the heim joint (the end link) and can exactly duplicate the noise. We tried spraying some white lithium grease on them and then also tried putting chassis grease around them with very minimal results. Anyone else have this issue? The car has maybe 3500 miles since I put the bar on so the joints should not have much wear on them.

Do you think if there was a ball and socket style end link of about the same length that it would function okay?Originally posted by 1BADAIR View Postheim joint arent meant for the street. Mine are bad too. BMR wanted a crazy amount for new ones2015 Silverado

Just wondering did you set a pre load or neutral load on the bar with the driver in the car? 200lbs in that drivers seat will make a lot of difference. And yeah heim joints just could be your issue

The joints on my spoon don't make noise....it's the damn bolt hole in the bar that someone must have oversized.
If I wrap the bolts with electrical tape and the pound them in - it's quiet for a 100 or so miles before it tears the tape apart.2000 Formula

mine has too many rattles to know if the bar made any new ones lol. I honestly don't remember any additional noise from installing it, we did set it with me in the carDoing less with more
