LS7 clutch is on sale for 265 at Summit:

Even a Perfection LS7 clutch is more than $100 more then that.

I need to pull the trigger on something.

you'll need the LS7 flywheel too. I ended up getting my PP, Clutch, and flywheel through gm directly (employees can) for $417 out the door.

Rockin' the stocker as well! And yup, it's starting to slip with the new sticky rubber out back. 'Bout time for an upgrade. Never heard a bad thing about Comp clutches. Anyone want to install a slick clutch/flywheel setup in her?

IIRC, GM Parts Direct had the package (shipped) for a price very similar to what I got. I think it was within $10-$15 of the $417 I paid.

Looks like I can get it for 375 by using an LS2 flywheel from Autozone.

Why dont these come with throw out bearings?

Why would they? Throwout bearing comes on the slave, which you should replace anyway. Look for a 20% off code from Autozone and order the master and slave through them (online). Just make sure the slave has the "AP" branding on it. If it doesn't, go exchange it for one in the store like I did.
