Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I have the socket mod on my PCM, and was wondering if anyone had the individual image files (64k) for the chips? I've tried to get ahold of Andrew Mattei over at AKM but it seems all his emails are dead.
Thanks!

Secondly - are the image files different with the socket mod than a regular tune? Because normally a tune is 128k..
Yeah, the tune is 128k, which is split between the two 64k chips. I had an error programming the tune, so my pcm is toast until I reprogram the chips. You can actually use an intel pro/100 card to program the chips individually without needing an expensive eprom programmer (http://sandeen.net/fwfix/index.html). My only problem is I don't have the image files for the individual chips, just the combined 128k file, which from what I've read around isn't split perfectly, but rather scattered bits here and there go to each chip.

Ah bummer - I've got a 95 PCM, is it something that I could easily pull from my PCM?
Only if you have it socketed pcm, and even then it's not terribly easy and you have to have the intel pro/100 card. Here's to hoping someone can chime in with a way to contact Andrew!
