Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Now, when I turn on my marker lights the headlight doors pop open which they have never done prior to today. WTH?
Then when I turn off the marker lamps, the doors close and then the left door motor is screaming for help for about 5 seconds and then stops. Could the gear be trashed?
Turn both lights on and disconnect the arm from the motor to headlight on the side that grinds. Spin the motor by the splined shaft 180 degrees. The 360 deg gear only uses 180 degrees of motion. WHen you rotate it to the other side youre using the new untouched side. Saves time and money. I did this last year.
95' Formula: A4, 3.23'S, K&N CAI, Granatelli MAF, Trickflow Elbow, tune from previous owner. Best 1/4 of 13.91.
I replaced the gear with another plastic type (Dorman) from Autozone on Friday. The headlamp doors worked properly (stayed closed with marker lights on) until Saturday. Then the plastic gear broke a tooth again. Today, I had ordered a couple of brass gears to eliminate the possibility of failure again!
