Ok guys I am getting ready to do a build on a stock 2002 ls1 camaro ss the only add on is the dual dual exhaust from Slp. So my question is what cam and converter should I get. Looking for something that will make some noise but still be street able. I will also be adding headers and have a valve job done on the heads as well as refresh the bottom end. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

For the money you will pay to refresh the heads plus a little more you will be able to get some cnc'd heads that will make you 50 more rwhp. think about it. For a converter I'd recommend a good name brand 3600 stall, I have a 224r cam in mine and its a nice street cam but you could go up to, say 234 degrees and still be very streetable. When in doubt, Whip it out !

What are your thoughts on this set up.
I was thinking of the 228r or the ms3
