Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Looking at picking up a 95 3.4 firebird for my 14 year old son. he will be taking drivers ed this fall and he has saved his money. told him id help and find him a car. after a year driving the v6 we will swap in a v8. car im looking at the motor is bad. lady says a bad valve and someone started working on it and never finished the job. getting it for a steal
Will be looking for parts for this. looking for a good 3.4 for now and 98 taillights. will keep an eye out for a whole front clip to make it look like an LS car. will then be looking to do an LT1 swap later since i figure putting his 5.3 in this will be much more work
i had a 95 3.4 5 speed for my first car. drove it for 2 1/2-3 years with pretty much no mechanical trouble... til i put a 100 shot on it and shot a rod out the oil pan
1995 Firebird Formula (Sold but not forgotten)
1998 Camaro Z28 LS1
2003 Silverado 2500HD CCSB 4x4 6.6 Duramax (DD with minor mods for better "MPG's")
Id go for it. I loved my 3.4 car. They are not the fastest but if its just reliable transportation your looking for it doesnt get much better for that price.
IMO, if your swapping a V8...go with a 5.3. Its going to be just as much work.
again its for my son who wont even be taking drivers ed til this fall so we have some time. putting the 5.3 in there will be just as much trouble?? then id definately go that route. figured he should learn to drive and such before we give him any power lol. it is a 5 speed car so i know ill have to do a tranny also when we do the v8
