Your interior looks nice, makes me want to redo my seats (not necessarily the color but the condition. Wonder why you have a 115 mph speedo?

Just picked up a pair of edelbrock shortie headers, paid 40$ for the pair of them.

Then another 30$ in materials to install them. So 70$ for some headers isnt bad at all

So i have a few updates,

              I installed 36# gtp injectors,

Got my headers all welded up and those are ready for some
              Beautifying,

Then all i have to do is get my y pipe ready

But with the headers one had a crack thru one of the runners at the collector.
Then had the egr tube and air tube cut off and ground down and welded.

Then had two custom pipes made and some clamps.

              Cost me $40 for that.

              So
              $40 for the headers
$40 for the welds and custom pipe
And $20 in materials ( since i got the custom pipes i didnt need
Some clamps i bought so i took em back)

So 100$ for a complete header swap isnt bad at all.

Sure hope you got a tune for them injectors. You'll wash out your cylinders real quick. Besides, why did you get them? I'm running a mild cam still on stock injectors...

                  ^ This.

I believe Joel is running stock injectors.
Have heard of a guy running like 500hp on stock injectors (just cause he wanted to see if it would work)
It worked until the injectors got tired of being opened so much and flowed the engine and boom went the dynamite.

The grilles are interesting... i wonder how they would look if you painted them black.

Yeah im making 370rwhp with stock injectors, been that way for 12k miles. Im going to switch to bigger ones when i do my LS conversion though.

36# injectors at 43.5psi is good for around 575hp at a 100% duty cycle.

I ran my engine for 15 minutes with 30# injectors and a stock tune and I had 2-3 quarts of gas in my oil from washing the cylinders out.

well I'm in the hunt now for a good cam, like cc306 lt4 hot cam something along those lines, if anyone has a spare cam around let me know,

im looking for one that I won't need to change the stock springs with, or if I do I want one that comes with springs,

i need the cam for a 93 but if I can use a newer model cam and just need to modify the dowel pin ill do that

Theyre black on the top and bottom but I polished the face cause I wanted them to be seen, too much black just doesn't look right to me, I even want to paint my wheels silver or that faux chrome, just to clean up the look some more,

anyone have any pics of rims painted with that chrome paint in a can?

You don't even need injectors for a CC306.
If you are keeping the stamped 1.5 rockers you are looking at .507/.54
Stock cam is .447/.459 on 1.5.
Its better but you better just get 1.6 rockers.
Also with any cam swap you should be doing springs also.

As Brian said if you drive it on stock tune you will wash the cylinders because it still thinks youre using 24# injectors.

Don't use stock springs. Stock springs and rockers suck just for the stock cam.

Do it once and do it right. And please don't spray paint your wheels.
