  • Headers showed up!

I love seeing the courier walk into the office carrying a big box for me!

My headers, Y pipe and strut brace showed up today.

I bought them all used from a guy on another camaro site.

The headers will go in to get "pretty-fied" while the car is in for paint. Gloss black ceramic coat.

Once that is done and the car is painted, then they get installed, then the strut tower brace.

It's all starting to come together....

How come you didn't go with longtubes? Either way, Congrats.

Check out founders performance. They have some cheap suspension products.

Agreed, its not too late to go big and do longtubes

Congrats though, stock manifolds are a big choke point on an LT1

Unfortunately, here in Onterrible, the long tubes makes the E test nearly impossible to pass. Until we get a government change, I am stuck with the shorties. I do want to lower the car too, but I am starting to run low on the almighty car-dollar. Might have to put that off til mid-summer maybe. I have a line on some springs and shocks/struts, just trying to work out the finances/logistics...

About 40 miles for me. But I gotta tell ya, when I move to the U.S., it will be a LOT further south...

We are looking at some vacation property up near Oscoda though. Lots of great golf up there.

Not sure on the 4th gens, but 3rd gen 'verts run into problems with the typical long tubes.
