  • Fuel Line Conversion

Does anyone know the fittings I would need to replace the fuel lines from the rail to the tank?

I want to reroute my fuel lines from the top of the gas tank to the rails to the outside of the frame rail for more space.
I have not dropped or seen the top of the assembly (can't think of the name for it right now), so does anyone know what I would need?

    EDIT:

I found the items needed to connect to the fuel rail, now just where the lines come out of the fuel pump assembly.

I'll have to get you pics of what I did.
Didn't have enough room to run the AN fittings the way I wanted so I cut the steel lines to the pump and did a AM crimp fitting then ran a 45 off that to my braided line.
Ran it right down next to the frame rail and attached it with padded rubber clamps and a rivet gun.

You couldn't fit AN fittings on top of the fuel pump assembly? Are there more quick disconnects on top of the fuel pump assembly?

Does anyone know the sizes of the lines coming out of the fuel pump assembly? Cause you can get Hardline to AN fittings.

Here is the the fittings on the pump assembly.
I had to cut the steel lines to get this:
              100_5095.JPG

I did the trap door on my car.
To get at AN fittings in the factory location is imposable and is why I cut the lines back

Hm now I could only find online hard line fittings for 3/8 and bigger no 5/16 where did you find one for the 5/16?

I will probably be having my axle out this winter so I will just drop the gas tank even though my car already has the trap door in it.

So you cut the lines back and flared the ends correct?

Nope, those are AN compression fittings. They have a brass compression flair inside that crushes when you tighten them.Got them at my local speed shop.I might be able to find the part #, I'll have to look.
