SS Hood Paint Chip

The story I was told this past summer.
When SS camaro sales picked up SLP Canada had to put in an automated paint line. While setting it up they had 7 SS paint chips for troble shooting. This is just the outer hood skin. The under side of the hood has writing on it also. #2 in the corner, and middle of the chip- test #1 AFS, ppg low bake, top under side-NO SANDED.
This a very interesting piece. I thought I would share it with all of you.
I was going to hang it in the man cave. I asked Jake if he wanted in his bedroom after his mom and I finish painting. U know what his answer was.

I found out today what I have is an slp test panel. Not called paint chip. There was a bunch made and all of them black. Maybe I can track down more in Quebec.

Duct tape it to a stock hood and you can sell it as a "genuine SLP SS hood"!

Lol, I didn't think of that. It is a cool piece. I sent pictures to someone that worked for slp. He wanted to know who sold it to me and how much I paid.
