  • Gas Fumes....EVAP Vent issue?

Didnt remove the charcoal canister on the tank so the vent line that ties into the hard line in the stock configuration is hanging. Have heard some have issues with fumes, some dont. Took my chances and I do

Should I block it off and go with a vented cap in the interim until I can drop the tank and remove that crap all together or what? Maybe a small charcoal filter instead of blocking it off? Would hate to be "that guy" stinkin up the trailer and display area......

I did the same thing, I blocked it off and went with a vented cap and had no issues with my car the last few weeks I drove it. Took care of the fumes inside the car and everything. (I'll probably just leave it, knowing you, you wont )

100% ? No.....thought I would start there anyway. Can't imagine the new lines are already saturated to the point they smell. Fumes seem to be stronger at the back of the car.

I took the EVAP canister out and vented the tube in the front fender well. I only get a strong gas smell after spirited driving and only from the front.

Your strong fumes are coming from the back?
