  • How do You?

How do you take out the left tailight in a 4th gen? I got a burnt out turn signal and need to change it.

There are plastic nuts that are located behind the carpet. Take those out then pull out the tail light.

Yeah, I hate having to take the spare tire out on the passenger side just to get the taillight out. The driver's side is great, just pull back the carpet and unscrew the two wing nuts and bam it's out.

You mean that camaros only have two nuts, firebirds have five.

It takes the 'birds 5 wingnuts that the 'maro can accomplish with 2.

on my turd gen, you have to start by taking the pass. side spare tire cover shit off, then the middle part which contains the hatch pull down, then the drivers side has clips, not plastic screws like the rest so its a ***** (i think) to do talilight bulbs in that. Oh and i replaced my left side markers, front and back, with new bulbs and they still wont work, and my pass. headlight has no dim now, oh yeah and my third brake light went out the other day. This thing is blowing ye ole bulbs left and right.

That's why you gotta love the first gen!!! Open the trunk and pull the bulb out.

The first Gen started it all!!!
