  • Second Look...95 Formula

Early spring of this year i was looking for a 4th gen hard top. Most of you know i bought a vert. Lol. The price was right and i know the couple that owned it. Plus the wife and kids love convertibles.
One of the cars i looked at was a 95 Formula. The car needed a little work. Paint also sounded like the opti was on it's way out. And i thought the asking price was high. A few nights ago i heard from a co worker that the price has dropped and was asked if i was still interested.
The car is on my short drive into work so i see it everyday sitting in the hot sun getting baked...
I'm thinking i should go rescue her if the price is right and the underside isn't bad. I have a picture of the vin from when i looked at it. I'll get more pictures today when i take my second look.

Unfortunately it's too old for me to find the full data in the Warranty site, but I do see it had the AIR pump replaced in 2000.

The owner wasn't home. From what i hear he'll let it go for $1200. I think that's a great deal. Was asking 3 when i looked at it in the spring.

The hood, wheels and intake are worth $1200.

I never talked to the owner.. He took it off the road last year because the engine would shut off sometimes at idle. This is what a co worker told me.
The interior is in really good shape. The rear quarter has rust but not bad. The car looks real straight. I'll probably buy it if it's priced that low. And if the wife is ok with it.

I'd buy it just to part it out.

I thought about that also. But i would probably swap wheels out. Then sell the Formula with a fresh coat of paint and running. After driving it next summer

Thats along the lines with what I'm planning on doing to my WS6 hood. Except black where the silver is.

I'll be doing the same on my Ultra Zee hood.
This hood was the one that was in the video i posted last month.

Snag that biyatch! It looks hot with the hood it has!

My new dd/woodward cruiser! I just drove her home. For the money I paid I have no complaints.
