Im about to get a new intake in replace of the stock one, and was wondering what the hose with the blue end that you push into the intake and the larger black hose that looks similar to some on the throttle body are for because all the intakes im seeing dont look like they have these spots. Let me know if you need pictures, sorry for not being more specific.

Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Ditch the air pump - drill a hole in the intake elbow to put the opti vent (blue plastic end) into the intake elbow.- Brian Meissen

What are the effects of not having the air pump? also how you go about drilling the hole, do you need a gasket of some sort?

As for the air pump, removing the air pump is no big deal but it might trip your SES light to come on. I could tune it out for you if you'd like since you have a '95.- Brian Meissen

If you're willing to drive to Chesterfield tomorrow (23 mile rd and Gratiot) I can tune it out for you. Should only take 15 minutes to download your tune, disable the AIR settings, and then reupload. I'll be working outside on my car tomorrow so I know I'll be home.- Brian Meissen
