cylinder 6 misfire

after parking the car for a few days because of rain, when I did start it my engine light was on. i plugged in my scanner and the code was for cylinder 6 misfire. what does this mean?? bad plug, plug wires, bad coil? I erased the code from the computer and it hasnt returned as of yet and its been 3 days. The car is almost at 99k, and Im unsure if there has ever been a tune up done. I plan on doing a major tuneup plus some mods over the winter. I just want to make sure know one else has had serious problems because of a misfire. thanks for any help. see you guys next weekend at the meet and greet.

check your plug, and wire on that cylinder for sure.

yeah I guess I should do that. duh, but the light hasnt come back on. thanks i didnt even look under the hood to even look yet. ill do that now. thanks
