sry it ran but you couldnt revv it up it acted like it had a misfire or somethin(wasnt right). i double checked my wires in stuff. so i took my opti off to check it. my opti was under warranty so i went and replaced it and installed it and now it runs fine but only with startin fluid. and i did do the vats bypass after the cam install. cuz i wasnt gettin any injector pulse.

well here's an update i went tautozone and got a noid light and fuel pressure gauge. the noid lights flashs when the motor is cranking over and when i put the gauge on to test the fuel th gauge doesn' read i checked it multiple times leads me to a faulty fuel pump. the pump turns on but no pressure. next question should i spend the money and get an airtrax pump from autozone or is their any others out their that are any good i want a good pump?

Make sure the pressure gauge opens the schrader valve. I usually just pull the valve out whenever I put a gauge on any pressure port.

Yeah I agree. O'Reilly's fuel pressure tester jams the schrader valve in such a way that it won't get any fuel pressure at all unless you remove the valve even though the directions for it says the valve can stay in.- Brian Meissen

Good to hear! With those LT1's it is hard not to get into the nitty gritty details...I have to keep reminding myself that I need to start with the simplest thing and work my way up
