  • Parking lamps wont turn off!!!

    Hey guys,
I can not figure out why my parking lamps won't turn off! Driving me crazy. cant drive the car until I figure this out, because they stay on when the ignition is off. Couple things I've done lately.
    1. Disconnected pass. air bag(im thinking this is why)
    2. Pulled dash and deleted HVAC installing delete panel.
    3. replaced dash and now this.
    4. I even pulled the airbag fuse and they're still on.

I even disconnected the light switch so it's not that.
I gotta figure this out. I wanna drive it so bad but don't feel like disconnecting the batt. every time I shut it off. Could this possibly be VATS?!?
ANY help is appreciated and I will check this regularly so please chime in.

Crossed wires, stuck relay, bad BCM?

Yeah I was reading up on the BCM. I had it hanging for about a week while the dash was puled, but that's it. It was never bumped hard or anything. I'm hoping for a stuck relay. I'll check them when I get home from work. If i take the cover off the BCM, is there any way to tell just by looking at it? It's just a chip board if I remember correctly.

Most cars have a default. Like when the lamp switch is bad/ disconnected the lights stay on

Does your car have daytime running lights feature? DTR module could be your problem. unplug it and see if they go out. BCM could be keeping them on because of bad grd on door switch.

Sticky relay. Not very common, but it happens.

Okay so my next.. and last issue... well this week anyway lol. My car is flooding out right now. It'll run great in idle for a couple minutes, then the fuel pressure will start to slowly increase eventually getting past 50psi. around 50ish it stalls out and smokes the hell out of my driveway due to the extra fuel burn. Does the regulator cause this?? Any help is appreciated. I just removed my EGR two weeks ago and haven't driven it yet, just an fyi.

My guess would be a huge air leak from egr removal. Recheck your block off plates for good seal. What sounds like is happening car warms up goes to closed loop, now PCM is looking at o2's, air leak tells PCM very lean, dump more fuel. Since you just removed EGR I would start there.
