Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

While tearing everything down (upper/lower intakes) I think I found the vacuum leak my car has been having? My throttle body plate does not sit flat.. is this normal? Here is a video you should be able to tell.
I also can't service anything inside because the side plate is riveted in.
unfortunately it isn't servicible thanks gm.
Tune was done 3 years ago, didn't get vacuum leaks til 6 months ago.
PCV valve did have fresh oil all over it.
I would check PCV routing and make sure its correct. IIRC theres not a whole lot of vacuum lines on the 3800 motors, just a few I thought. Is your HVAC working correctly? Power brakes? Have you hooked up a vacuum gauge to it yet? How do you know you have a vacuum leak? Not doubting you, just trying to help figure it out!
Theres alot more info on it here http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums/showthread.php?67227
PCV just sits in the upper inake and didn't have anyhing connected to it, just a plate on top. I did backflush through the heater core during the coolant change, but it doesn't show any problems and works better than it did before the flush. Hoses and connections all look fine. As I've currently ripped down my upper/lower intakes to do the gasket swaps, I figured that would be the only other problem. So far I don't see many lines, everything is just electrical connectors. There were a few that looked like mini spark plug boots that were either vacuum or emissions lines but they all looked in great shape too.
