i have not done one on our cars. I do know that the pins are snap in pins..so sometimes you have to give it alittle tug. You shouldnt have to rip on it though. If its not coming off..possibility you probably missed a screw.1999 Turbo Trans Am WS6**Under Construction** Rear Mount Retired

yeah it is kindof a pain in the ass...and like Craig said, you need TO LIFT UP and it will come off...there's these big plastic hook like tabs that hold them on...good luck1998 Camaro SS Bullseye Turbo
