My 97 TA has a mechanical odometer that's original to the car. It surprised me too.

Any chance someone might have a 150 mph cluster for sale or know where I can find one?

I would check with your local junkyard. They are bound to have one. Only problem with doing that is the whole originality of the odometer... etc. I'd personally just deal with it.

My original odometer was taken out and used in the 150mph cluster. You can switch them out.

Yeah, the Z rated tires were an extra cost option and also moved up the speed limiter.

Seems like a lot of work for the few times it's at the strip, otherwise it's not like you're regularly going above 110mph anyway.

If your only bothered by the 110 MPH speedo when you go to the strip, unplug the vss (speedo) sensor on the m56 its on drivers side near rear tail housing. Check it first before you go to strip as it might affect your reverse lock out, I think that activates by PCM sensing more than 2-5 mph speed.
That way you'll only lose speedo when you drive to and from the track.
