Need Info on shifters...

Hey guys i am looking for a ratcheting shifter for my 98 Z28 with an auto trans dose anyone know of one that would mount in? I called B and M and theres wont work on my car dose the hurst one fit?

There are no direct replacements, but several of them can be made to fit the factory A4 or M6 console (depending on the shifter) with some fabrication and a little cutting and still look good. I had a B&M Hammer mounted under my M6 console with the boot in tact. Looked pretty good if I do say so myself.

how hard was it to fab. to fit the console on the a4

I have no idea, I think it's different for every shifter. I've never done one on the A4 console. It's usually like a Hurst QuarterStick that's done in the A4 console or something similar. A lot of people had pics posted on LS1Tech at one point.
