  • Help: Opti Fail Code 16?!?

So my car ran great today when I brought it home to wash it up for woodward this weekend. When i got done washing the outside and engine bay I drove it around the block then pulled it in the garage to clean the inside. And when i got all done and ready to go put it back in storage till Saturday it wouldn't start it would only crank over. So i checked fuel and i checked spark and they both seemed good. So i was baffled. So i did a scan on the obd1 and a code 16 (low pulse resolution) and a maf code. But no idea what to do i did a little research and i guess its common when the opti's are on they're way out?...can anyone offer me any advice or guidance cause i dont know what to do except replace the opti and i really wanted to come to Woodward.

It is pretty much common place to never was an LT1 with running water. I did this once and was very careful not to aim any water at the opti and it still went bad.
