Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Went in to get gas(on empty) afterwards car won't start. It cranks but
can't keep it running at all.
Is it my fuel pump? Its sitting at the garage right now....
Idk much about that, it is possible that it sucked air into the fuel lines. Id try to pressurize it and bleed the fuel lines a few times through the schrader valve near the fuel rails to see if that helps anything.
Just found out it was the
pump. Around $800 to fix it, and the pump is in the tank.
Screw getting the stocker replaced for 800 bucks, put in a $125 walbro high flow pump in there and call it good. I did the swap on my car, not to bad to do and will help with upgrades later.

2004 GMC Envoy - Tuned, Airraid Intake, rest stock
2005 Malibu - Stock, anyone have a ecotec factory gm supercharger for me? lol
I have one and just installed one in another car for ALOT cheaper than that.
They want you to let the glue dry on the bucket over night when you put a new pump in. The place might be charging for that time too
Where can I find that?
Are any of these good?? Out of that $800.00, $370.00 is labor, so pretty much the rest is the ac delco pump. I think at this point I am going to look for a less expensive one. But I still have to get them to do it. http://oem.overnightautoparts.com/pa...20Pump&dp=true

when I did mine I did the access panel in the hatch area method and then just ditched the bucket. Ziptied the pump to the assembly and works perfect. A lot of people just ditch the bucket when going with the aftermarket walbro pumps. I wish I could get paid $370 in labor to do that install, lol, they are making a pretty penny there.
