i have a 95 with no cats. a 94 is OBD1 also which means there are no cat monitor sensors... therefore it wont throw any codes if you cut it.

Joliusz28 is right. 94s have the OBDI so there arent any O2 sensors behind the cat. It wont throw any codes or cause any problems as far as your computer goes (cops might be another story). My 95 is the same thing and i ripped mine out about a month after i got it. Should make a slightly noticeable gain especially if your cat is old and clogged

No problems with your setup on that year. Id say cut it and put in a straight pipe over gutting it. Will sound pretty good after, louder of course.

Im with them, cut it! If you start to throw an O2 code you can get an O2 simulater from jegs i belive or if you know someone that tunes pcm's you have that parameter totally removed i think. soon as i get my headers im smashing the bricks out of mine (so it looks like i still have them if the vehicle is raised) and running o2 simulators. i want mine as loud as i can get it without it sounding like my exhaust is ran though a metal trash can.
