Im putting a big block 440 in my 98 camaro and when I set the engine in for the first time the front suspension bottomed out instantly so I was wondering if anyone could let me know where I could get some stronger springs for the front end?

lt1 fronts were the strongest 4th gen ones I know of, but there not going to handle that kind of weight. Probably going to need to call around and have someone fab those up for you. Thats definitely not a common swap, and a LOT of weight up there.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

call coil spring specialties and see if they will make you some springs.
You might be able to move the pocket on the strut as wellComment

Why not just go BBC? There are off the shelf headers, k-members and such that will fit in a fourth gen.
