    At that price I'd find a used one for $200 and pay to have someone put it in.

      What these guys said. Unless you look under there and see a nice shiny new rear end, you got shafted. I personal would never take my car there again.

        Your getting a raw deal dude. There are millions of good shops in Texas so run from the one your currently dealing with. For that price I would order a brand new one and put it in myself. If you pay that price for a rebuild you should slap yourself.

          I have the exact same problem with my rearend right now, took it to a rear axle shop and they quoted me $525 to change all the internal bearings and krush sleeve. Even that seems pricey to me, no? I think I will call DTS today.
