I know that looks like a small hole in the drivers side but by the time I have cut all the rotten metal out It was a good 3x3". Ground,cut,scratched and sanded the rust out then used naval jelly on anything I couldn't reach then painted with a rust encapsulating paint and fiberglassed then painted again and topped off with a rubberized paint. It should be pretty solid lol

Thanks for the pics! It looks awesome, did you do the repairs yourself?My car has holes in the floor pan when I lift up the carpet & the undecarriage looks horrible! I have to do some restoration on the body before moving to the drive train. The reason I asked for pics is because i need to find a place that specializes in rust repair because I need all new floor pans and with the car never been stripped down to the bare metal, I am sure there is alot more rust hiding under the carpet. Do you know of any?

I did it myself, its not hard. Just requires being very anal retentive

Yes you'll be fine with jack stands under the axel tubes. I did it that way, then double checked with my wheels mounted
