  • VRE-Project Supercharged '94 Trans Am

This project consisted of transforming this 1994 Trans Am daily driver into a winner at the strip. It came to us with blown engine from the Powerdyne it previously had. We built a fully forged 355ci engine to accomidate the 20# of boost, from the new Vortech supercharger the customer(cjmatt) would like to run. The short block consisted of a Callies Dragonslayer crankshaft, Compstar connecting rods, and Diamond Pistons. We finished it off with a LT1 mainfold, unported LT1 cylinder heads, ATI damper and CSI electric water pump.

We dynoed this past Saturday and were very pleased with the results 518/467 at only 10psi. Plans are to upgrade the fuel pump from a single 255lph to the dual in-tank setup, and then put on the smaller pulley.

I would probably be expecting a phone call when the dual kit comes in.
