  • The Last SS

I was looking at a mag in Meijers today called Camaro Performance or something along those lines. On the cover is had the last SS with 475hp. Is that camaro owner on here, or am I thinking of the last Camaro ever built, the one that was sold on Ebay a few weeks ago?

hmm i could have sworn the last SS was in the museum at the Tech Center down the street...i could be completely wrong though? lol

"475" hp, it could of been the last berger or gmmg camaro.

I'll have to pick up the new issue but it's not a factory production car. The last Camaro off the line was a red Z28 vert that's in the Heritage museum. The last saleable Camaro was the red Z28 coupe that was for sale on ebay the other week. With 475HP it sounds like a GMMG Phase IIX car.

yes i do remember it saying it had the GMMG exhaust on it cuz it showed some pics of it. Don't think it was by Berger though.

GMMG also did Camaros for Tom Henry and Dale Earnhardt. They did Firebirds for Carl Black Pontiac aka Blackbirds.

Oh the mag is called Camaro Performers It's like a bi-monthly publication put together mostly from rehashed Super Chevy articles with a few pictures and features of their own.

A ZL1 is a ZL1, not an SS. They started out as B4C police package cars and the OEM SS hoods and spoilers were added. They wouldn't call it an SS if it was a ZL1.

The car is a 2002 35th Anniversary "Performance Edition" with a GMMG Phase IIx pkg. It was not the last car produced...the article is just emphasizing the last year the cars were produced. Cool ride!
