  • changing the plugs...

Ok, well i'm going to change my plugs tommorow for the first time on this car, since i'm not sure what the previous owner did, if anything at all, and i decided to see what are the best plugs you can buy around here. What sparkplugs are you guys using?

X3 for the tr55's (NGK) and take the packs off. He helped me finish mine, I could only get 7.

Sounds unanimous! I'll go with those then. How hard is it to remove and put back the coil packs? I'm guessing just some simple unbolting, I've heard about trying to get one of the rear coil pack bolts back on, and most people dont put it back on?

Nope, just leave them off. Mike and I left mine off after he did my #8. I know his aren't on. They shouldn't go anywhere missing those back bolts, there's plenty to hold them on.

Advance carries them too. I think they are about $2 per plug.

i found the easiest way to get to the back plugs was from under the car, just my two cents

Oh really, how high did u jack it up? and did you need a special tool? I'll have to check that out, but i've definitely heard about going from below on 8.
