  • Its running, now time for a good tune

    Its finally running again. Put in a TSP 224r, long tubes and ORY, and LS6 intake manifold. Sounds fantastic. Now just need to get a good tune. Would definitely like some suggestions who to use for tuning.

    Have Steve at sb tuning do it. He tuned my Tr224 and my new cam.

          i say go with tj at baker engineering. but you'd have to trailer your car across state. he tuned my car and did an awesome job. everyone around here goes to him.

            Yes hes in port huron. A 224 shouldn't be very hard to tune Id really just go with who gives you the best deal.

              yeah steve is in port huron but works down at in warren i believe. hes in the ballpark of $250-300 for a street tune which is a pretty good deal.
              wishing i could drive like joe and the atm squad

                tj at baker tuned my SS, more than happy! i also heard good things about Dr. phil!

                  Dr. Phil x3, he just tuned mine and its 100 times better.
                  2005 Chevy 2500HD, Duramax, DD/tow vehicle, 20x12's, DSP5 w/Kory Willis tunes, head studs, EGR delete, LBZ MP, 4" MBRP

                  99 T/A, A4, Black, SLP Flo-pac, LMII, LS6 intake, PS LT's, TSP ORY, 42# injectors, stock 243's, comp cam 230/232 612/595, UMI rear suspension, Yank SS3600, Built trans, 3.42's, other small stuff.
                  11.72 at 116mph, 1.61 60ft, N/A
                  11.41 at 124mph, 1.72 60ft, a little giggle gas in 2nd/3rd and no traction

                  New setup in the works!!!

                      He works out of his house, one man team. He lives in Macomb and is a very very reputable guy. I can pm you his e-mail addy if your interested his tunes are done on the street.

                        Yeah since yours is an LSx Dr Phil seems to be the popular one. Don't even bother asking Phil if it's an LTx or he'll get holier than thou on you.                           Like said above, he works out of his house and for some extra he can maybe put it on the Dyno for you to
