Wiper Blades? 93-97 Camaro

I have been on a long search to find the right wiper blades for my car. I previously had Anco blades on there but the part # that is a replacement for 1993-1997 Camaros (part #22-24) I can't find in stores anywhere.


What kind of wiper blades do you run / how do they work?


I bought a pair of Ancos at O'Reilly that were kinda the same size but don't fit worth poop on my car (part # 31-24), and every time I lift the wiper arm they fall off.

Find a reasonably intelligent person at the auto parts store, our cars require a different "adaptor" to fit on the stock wiper arms, which the store should have in a set of small plastic boxes behind the counter. They don't cost anything extra, they just have to find the right ones for you. I just went through this a couple months back, it took me about 20 minutes to find the right ones through trial and error, but I got them.

Also, they probably have replacement blades in back that you can't find up front, so give them the part number (22-24) for the ANCO replacement, and they may have it in back with the commercial parts.

Well stupid me didn't check with the store. I got home and went on their website and guess what? They have 22-24's in stock, but not on display because part # 22-24 is specific to the Camaro/Firebird. So I got the right ones, now I just hope they work

I find the same thing with mine. I have a pair of '98 arms in case I want to run better, but generally, there's only one that truly fits, due to the "reverse loop" the '93-'97's came with.

Tried a few different aftermarket ones, in the past. Now I just get the factory ones, from the dealership. Cost twice as much, but they work twice as well too. I was thinking of switching to the '98-up style arms, like Steddy mentioned, to see if I could save money in the long run.

I got Goodyear blades from Costco for like $7/blade.... they're the new fancy style ones like bosch icons - seemed to work great the one time I had to use them. Also running them on my DD and they're great
