where can i find a new starter?

hey guys, spring is approaching and im in desperate need of a new starter for my Lt1. I was wondering if anyone knows of a place that has good deals on them...is it worth looking on ebay for one?

I have had terrible luck with Chinese starters. (do not get one from ebay, autozone, etc.) They might have a decent warranty but to me I would rather do a task once.
I would strongly recommend you have your starter rebuilt or exhanged at J&P on Grosbeck hwy.
Its a little bit of drive but Ken is a great guy and its good to see people employee here.

There's also a shop at around Beech Daly and Grand River in Redford. I can't think of the name off the bat, but a quick google search should yield some results. Another idea may be a mini starter (Summit), if you're willing to give it a try. Higher torque, less current draw, less space.
