  • where to get just a cap and rotor for my opti?

    called advanced auto and autozone and they dont have the cap and rotor only the whole unit and im not putting a junk ass autozone opti in my car... i got a good opti from ricky and i want to replace the cap and rotor on it... noone seems to have them! oh and i was tired of arguing on the phone about the exsistance that my car is realy an SS... uhg those places will hire any retard!

    So far, I am having good luck with my MSD cap and rotor, but I know some people don't like them

      crap i wont use MSD or accel they have too high of a failure rate and they dont work nearly as well as the GM replacement, thank you for the link though!

        Yet there are hundreds of thousands of those units that are just fine.


        Isnt there like 3 manufactures of Opti's? Ac Delco = dead, MSD, and everything else?


        An opti that costs 1/5 of the cost of a ac delco will probably go 1/5 of the miles of an ac delco.
        Like anything, you get what you pay for.

          Remember, the MSD is the only one with a 1 year warrenty
