    Alternatives for Autometer Gauge sending units other then....through Autometer??

    I have an autometer oil pressure and water temp gauge both missing sending units. The units are about $55 combined for the two. Is there another option for sending units that might work with these gauges other then Autometers?

    Maybe check on ebay for used ones...

      Others might work, but would you ever trust what the gauge reads with non-autometer sending units? I wouldn't.

        get in touch with Autometer and see if the oem senders would work. They just might. You could find them probably cheaper or maybe used.
        When in doubt, Whip it out !
