I have searched around and all i can find is threads talking about removing the side skirts off the stock ground effects. Right before i put my car away for the winter i had to turn around in a dirt driveway and somehow hit the small gfx on the front passenger side. It flexed and the paint came off in a huge chunk. The was no other damage. I want to remove the body kit piece in the front but i want to make sure i can get it back on after i get it repainted. Any ideas?

If I remember correctly removing it will leave several holes in the body, I think it may be riveted on.Doing less with more

I've taken my kit off before.. It has riveted plates that the top lip of the body kit slides into and then the body kit is held in place by I think 3 or 4 push in clips from underneath. There are also 2 plastic rivets in the fender area. The side skirts has the same plates that the lip of the kit slides into and then it is held in place by screws underneath, it also has 2 plastic rivets in the front fender. Very easy to take off and put back on.. If you plan to take it off and keep it off there will be holes in the rocker panel and front bumper from the plates that are riveted on. The spoiler has double sided 3M tape plus 3 holes in each quarter panel.

The front pieces are really easy to take off.. Like I said there's about 3-4 push clips underneath plus the 2 plastic rivets in the fender. Good luck and if you have any other questions drop me a PMOriginally posted by Dewman View Posti just want to take off the little front part so i can get it repainted and then i will throw it back on.
