Crap. I took the ignition control module to o'rielys and they tested it, said it was bad so I'm like cool, I finally figured it out. 140 bucks (bought the coil too) came home put the icm and coil on, hooked everything back up, crossed my fingers. No dice, same exact thing when it gets warm. What's left? ECU and MAP is all that's left right?

did you put the new intake on it? my friends car was having that issue too. turned out there was a bad ground. another issue he had was the fuel in his fuel in his rails was actually boiling. the fpr wasnt letting enough fuel get thru. idk it was weird. i didnt read your whole thread. did you check fuel pressure when its warm?

From bad to worse.... I changed the MAP sensor and the car did the same stumble crap when warm, like always, but now the p.o.s. wont start back up after it cooled down!!! It's always started right up after 3 or 4 hours, just cranks and cranks now. I'd sell this f'n thing tomorrow if i could, what a money pit.

*edit* I just went out to try it again, and when i turn the key to acc position, the oil pressure gage doesnt move at all and the check gages and SES light are on!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I hate this car, i'd trade it for a focus with 80,000 miles right about now.

I seen you said it ran great before winter did you go over the wiring to make sure a little helper didn't chew on a few wires? Other then that I'd start with the basics again. Fuel pressure, good clean ground connections, clean spark, engine compression, and etc.

Well, problem solved. After changing 02 sensors, ICM, Coil, coolant temp sensor, thermostat, and MAP sensor, i got pis*** off and towed it to my mechanic. IT WAS THE DAMN OPTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever designed that system should be stoned in public by all LT1 owners who have had to deal with it! Soooooo glad I saved my other one that only had 200 miles on it! 75 bucks labor to change it and 3 hours later, she's back on the road! So, remember my experience when your car stumbles when warm lol, go straight to the opti!

On the positive side, you have a bunch of new stuff on your car that you don't need to worry about going bad.
