  • Heeeeeellllllllpppppppppp!!!!!!!!

    i need the subframe bolts for my car! I tore it all apart about 3 months ago to rebuild the bottom end and now i can only find two of em thatll work the others r rounded off and im missing one... its a 95 camaro with a v6 but i think the bolts r the same whether v8 or v6, if anyone has any laying around id b more than glad to pay you for them, or if anyone know somewhere that sells them itd be greatly appreciated, its the only holding me up from gettin it runnin again! Thanks for ur time and any advice in advance....

    Can you match the ones you have up to some grade 8's from home depot?

    Used to own a Firebird.

      A grade 8 bolt isn't needed for a subframe bolt.( At least gen 1 camaro didn't have gr 8 bolt there) Usually bolts like that are different have a unique head and shoulder. I would just call the dealer and get a few of them. then you know you have a new bolt with the correct thread, length, no rust, or damage.

            unfortunately i work at a dealer and wheen i had one of my parts guys look them up they r now discontinued so i can only hope to find another set, no junkyards will sell just the bolts and the only junkyard i know of where i could take em is parts galore in detroit but they dont have any camaros right now!

              Do you have any that are good?

              If so, head to Frentz and Sons (Catalpa and Main, in Royal Oak) - they have an ungodly huge bolt selection.

                good news! i actualy found the bolts last night! WOOHOO! my friend had swept them up from under the car into a pile of dirt in the corner! so i got the motor and trans back in, hopefully firing it up this weekend!
