  • LT1 intake project, part 2. Any help or input is GREATLY appreciated.

Heres the subject. Mainly im concentrating on the plate aluminum top piece.

Im looking for someone who is good with photoshop, or any program of the like. I am thinking of having something CNCd on the lid, but im not sure what yet. I dont need a pic of it on the intake, rather just a sketch of the design itself. Maybe an SS in the middle of the intake with an arch of text above it (ya know, like in the shape of a frown), that says 30th aniversary SS. And an arch below it (in the shape of a smile) that says 1967-1997. The intake will be powdercoated red and the very top surface will be bare and polished. The CNC work will be filled in with powder. I am not stuck on this idea or anyother idea. Im open to just about anything. Any input or help is appreciated since Im kinda out of ideas for this part of the project. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Thanks Eric L

Oh, and I would prefer it to be readable from the front rather than just one side what ever it may be. Thanks, Eric L

How did you remove that piece of metal from the top?

I cut it off with a 4.5 inch angle grinder and a cut off wheel. Eric L
