Something wrong with front end?

Ok here is the deal.

This past weekend we drove my camaro to saginaw to have my tranny rebuilt. Rebuilt fine. Put back on the salad shooters.

As of right now I think there is something wrong with my front end maybe. When I turn the wheels slightly right, the steering wheel will finish turning itself all the way right. When it does it makes a loud grinding sound. To best describe the sound over the internet is, driving down a very country road filled with a crap ton of rocks and just hauling ass down the road (see where I am going with the sound?). Thats what it sounds like to me.

I turned the wheels all the way left and went in circles,and it doesnt make that sound at all..only when the wheels is completely turned right.

Any ideas on what it could be?

Alignment off? Causing you to run into the end of the steering rack?

Are you stationary or moving when it makes the sound? If moving, that would lead me to believe the wheel is rubbing on something

The alignment is on, had it aligned before superfest. It would be when I am moving.I havn't tried stationary yet, I will on the way to work tomorrow morning. I will crank the wheel entirely right and get out and check to see if its rubbing anywhere.

In spring the camaro was aligned with my 18's on it, now that it has 16's, would it throw my alignment off?

Yesterday when we had some down time at work , we put Yoshi on the lift to try & uncover the noise. The driver side tie rod is rubbing against the driver front wheel, when its engaged right to a stop. We took the wheel off & you can see on it where the wheel is rubbing. I'll try & snap a pic today.
